Haunted Mansion Foyer - Assignment 2

This assignment was to make a more 'creepy' mansion foyer, but I ended up running out of time due to unforeseen circumstances.  Here is what I submitted:

Supersray particles and Deflectors: M'n'Ms

M'n'M particles that were made today.

The particles all have the same off-axis/spread and off plane/spread settings.  The size of the particles are size 1, to keep them to scale of their mesh counterparts.

The particles focus on a Spherical Gravity centered in the middle of the bottom plane, which has a deflector of the same size covering it, making the smarties look like they are bouncing off of it.  No deflectors were put on the side walls or cube.

The particle quantity set on all of the supersprays is 1:200 (1 Use Rate to 200 total) over 100 frames.  This generates 1 particle every two frames.

Assignment 1: Initial Render - Video and Images

Boat in a Bottle

This is the final rendering of my assignment - Boat in a Bottle.  This boat is a 1:1 scale design of a model boat I have available.  The model is actually unfinished due to loss of work which ended up having to be completely re-made.  The lighting is not good as it tries to pass through the glass.  The bottle was quickly put together due to running low on time, creating errors that could be quickly fixed given the opportunity.

During my spare time I will finish this boat to the standard I wanted and will upload it to this blog.

These are rendered pictures of the boat inside and outside of the bottle:
